Simone's Thoughts - Garrett and I last took a cruise over a year ago and Max was too young for childcare. Booo! Not anymore though and the room only has to have a bed in it to make that worthwhile. :) I actually am not much for cruises, the food is mediocre, the company is usually less than, and you are trapped. On the other hand you do get to visit a bunch of places you might have not gotten a chance to otherwise.

Simone's Thoughts - I have been sweeping for a while and you always check the ARV before entering to win anything in order to see if it is worth the taxes you will pay on it. That being said, there are certain trips that are so good, that it will always be worth the taxes. For me trips to the Galapagos fall under this category. Unfortunately, I can't enter this one as we just can't take another trip this year and the trip has to be taken before December 31, 2010.

Hopefully we won't see any mice on our boat!

Simone's Thoughts - Every January there is a flood of year long sweeps. These are sweeps you can enter all year long - hooray! (sarcasm intentional) I personally prefer sweeps that don't hang around like some unwanted party guest all year long, but some people love them. For me they become the bastard stepchild of my sweepstakes. Sitting at the back of the line, having been pushed there by sweeps that end earlier. Yelling at me in a pipsqueak voice "Hey remember me? Only 8 more months until I put out!"

I also find it amusing that a company that wants me to have a healthy heart is encouraging me to sit in front of my computer for over a year entering their sweep.

Simone's Thoughts - As many of you know Garrett and I are happily booked on vacations for next year, so I won't be entering to win this one, but you should. Many people would consider this one a trip of a lifetime. If you don't really want it, don't enter though as you will pay taxes on this one with an ARV of $24,580. The taxes you will probably pay would be worth it for the trip IMHO, but that is for you to decide.
