We have never won a trip to California, and while I have no desire to go for a moving screening, I would like to go to California at some point. LA? Not so much, but if winning the trip gets me to CA, we can always rent a car and skip LA all together. This is another destination that is very common in giveaways that I haven't won. So eventually, we will get there.

Simone's Thoughts - This Cinderella Castle Suite must be pretty pimp if they only let you stay in it for 1 of the nights you are there. Lets hope they don't stick you in the 'pre-princess' version Cinderella suite for the other 3 nights. I don't think I could deal with sewing mice all night long. I guess they just can't afford to let you stay there more than that. Or maybe the magic wanes away after 1 night. Maybe in the morning, Cinderella just doesn't look that good. This is another magical trip for 4 to Walt Disney World though, so we will be entering. One of these days I will win the elusive Disney trip.

Simone's Thoughts - I hate licorice. We get our veggies from a local vegetable delivery service, Greenling, that I think I have mentioned before. Its great because its local and organic and forces us to try new things and eat more veggies. Earlier this year, my husband and I discovered that we hate Fennel. The green part sparsely used on a salad - ok. The bulb, cooked, roasted, whatever - not ok. It tastes just like licorice and I don't care for licorice. But I like free stuff, so for that, I will tolerate the Red Vines. I just hope I don't win the daily, otherwise someone is getting licorice for Christmas.

Simone's Thoughts - So in the world of sweepstakes there are prizes that everyone wants to win. Right at the top of that list is the HGTV Dream Home. There are lots of imitators, but this is the original. Now most of you probably know about this sweep, so this won't be news to you, but for those of you that need a reminder- enter already! Granted, this sweep gets more entries than probably any other sweepstakes besides PCH, but you can't win if you don't enter.

I was really excited when I heard this years dream home was going to be in New Mexico. I love it there and while I would never be able to keep any dream home, I thought this would be a nice one to dream about. WRONG! HGTV put this home in between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in the middle of fuckin nowhere. On top of that, the house sucks. The only nice part is the tile accents. As usual, HGTV has suceeded in creating a 1.5 million dollar house with a master bedroom smaller than my less than $150,000 house. Congrats at sucking guys. The plus side is that I have no real desire to keep this house and wouldn't even need the normal UHaul I plan on to haul away furnishings cause even those suck in this house. FAIL HGTV. Hopefully someone with money likes it and will buy it when I win this year.

Simone's Thoughts - All in all we did pretty good on our sweeps in 2009. Not our most banner year, but we got a cruise, a trip to Rome, and a couple $1,000 gift cards as well as smaller wins. I really wish the FJ Cruiser came in a 4 door. I love the style and the fact that it is a Toyota, but a 4 door hybrid model would really sell me. I know this is for a 4 runner, but I the FJ is so cute!
